The New Scotland label was launched in Oxfordshire in 1993 by Helen Greene and Patrice Saget. The main concept was to produce exciting innovative and contemporary designs with reference to the skills used in historical knitwear traditions.
The collections are aimed at the high end market and use beautiful and quality yarns including the purest of cashmere from Scottish and Italian spinners. These yarns are then interpreted into creative and technical fabrics and made up into a wide array of styles and accessories. Fine details are a signature to the New Scotland design concept and the products are easy to wear and attract a wide clientele. All designs are fully fashioned from the lightest of cashmere knitted in fine gauges through to chunky handknitted cashmere and merino blends. New Scotland focuses on offering fantastic color ranges each season.
